Our audiologists will explain the differences between each model, demonstrate their features and make sure you feel confident when choosing the right option.

The Widex Fitting Process at Clyde Audiology

Your experience with Widex begins with a full hearing assessment at our Glasgow clinic. This allows us to understand your hearing profile and lifestyle needs before recommending suitable devices.

The process includes:

  1. A comprehensive hearing test using advanced diagnostic equipment
  2. A detailed discussion about your day-to-day hearing challenges
  3. Recommendations from the Widex range that suit your lifestyle and preferences
  4. A professional fitting where the device is programmed specifically to your hearing profile

We then show you how to operate, clean and maintain your new hearing aids, ensuring you leave with confidence from your very first appointment.

Living with Widex Hearing Aids

Widex hearing aids are designed to improve clarity in every environment, from quiet conversations at home to busy restaurants and outdoor settings. Patients often notice immediate improvements in understanding speech and managing background noise.

Because of their discreet designs, many patients feel more confident wearing Widex devices in daily life. For those with tinnitus, the built-in relief features can also provide welcome support, reducing the impact of persistent ringing or buzzing in the ears.

With Widex, you can look forward to reconnecting with loved ones, engaging fully in conversations and enjoying sounds you may have been missing.

Aftercare and Ongoing Support

At Clyde Audiology, we understand that hearing aids are not a one-time solution. Your hearing needs may change over time, and your device may require adjustments. That is why we provide full aftercare and follow-up support for all Widex patients.

Our services include:

  • Regular check-ups and fine-tuning of your hearing aids
  • Cleaning and maintenance guidance to keep your devices working at their best
  • Adjustments as your hearing needs change
  • Support with Widex accessories, including chargers, TV connectors and remote controls

We are committed to ensuring your Widex hearing aids continue to deliver the best performance for years to come.
